trustee
Rowan is a creative writer, performer, singer-songwriter, and improviser. They write and perform their poetry and music live, share their prose and plays, and have acted with various theatre groups.

Rowan's own work defies singular genre constraints and tackles our relationships with others and ourselves. Themes around poverty, disability and queerness feature frequently in their art. Rowan's feature project 'Echoes In Our Time' is a monthly zine featuring folktales and original poetry as well as updates on social welfare news.

They are committed to improving living conditions in the UK and in the arts governance field specifically they are a trustee of two Dorset arts organisations where they lead on equity and accessibility.

Rowan has been featured in venues across the Southwest and performed and directed improvised theatre and stand-up comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
